Kieren De'ath
Growing up in the countryside in Lincolnshire, Kieren enjoyed spending time outside in local woodland and farmland and was involved with the Lincolnshire Wildlife trust from a young age. To burn off his energy Kieren played competitive ice and inline hockey, he was lucky to travel whilst playing at an international level, competing in the Junior Olympics in New Orleans. This sparked his love for travelling, and after training with the British army in the University of Manchester Officer Training corps, found his love for a range of outdoor activities. Combining these skills, Kieren started leading overseas school expeditions in 2019 and has led students from the UK to Ecuador and the Galapagos, Tanzania, Mozambique, eSwatini, Cambodia, and Malaysia. Seeing so much amazing wildlife Kieren wanted to gain a deeper understanding of his love of nature, returning to study and completing a biology degree at Bangor university in 2023. Kieren enjoys spending time at sea combining his passion for travel and love of all wildlife.
